What an amazing ambience this couple achieved at Glasshouse at Seputeh! It had the cosiness of an indoor wedding with the bonus of a well-crafted outdoor feel. Thank you for the lovely shots, Chong Yee Photography.

The newlyweds set out to put together a bohemian themed wedding, was made possible by Pax Floral and Signature Moments. They opted for neutral colours, as they did not want anything too bright, and decided on Glasshouse at Seputeh as their venue.

The bride shared: “These were the most memorable parts of the wedding: walking down the aisle, the exchange of vows, and officially registering our marriage before our family and close friends. We had our first dance to ‘Time After Time’ by Shy Girls, surrounded by all our close friends holding sparklers.”

Their friends also serenaded them, which made the evening all the more special. Putting their creative chops to work, the couple customised their wedding invitations using Canva. The cake was inspired by one they saw on Pinterest, and the wedding favours were Earth Care Soaps with their names and wedding hashtag, for a practical yet personal touch.

Tips from the bride: “Start planning early. Put together a Pinterest mood board comprising elements of your dream wedding. Your top three decisions are the wedding date, theme and budget. Tackle each one by priority and what can be achieved in the early stages of your wedding preparation.

“Use working sheets so that both parties can access them and check off what has been done. Communicate with your partner. Delegate tasks based on (everyone’s) strengths. Do plenty of research before settling on the vendors. Ask your married friends for advice and share vendor lists. Don’t settle for anything less. You only get married once so make sure you are satisfied with all the decisions you make.”
